Careers
Small, founder-led, hiring slowly and on purpose.
No formal openings right now
We’re not in “scale the headcount” mode and probably won’t be for a while. Today the team is the founder plus a tight group of pilot operators who give weekly feedback. We’d rather ship a sharp v1 than build an org chart.
That said, if WerOrg sounds like your kind of project — small, opinionated software that makes a small business’s life materially better — we’d love to know you exist. We add to the bench as the work grows.
Who we’ll likely hire first
- Full-stack engineer (TypeScript / Postgres / Next.js). Comfortable owning a feature end-to-end — schema, server action, UI, test — and shipping it the same week.
- Operator-success lead. You’ve worked in or around mobile resale or e-commerce. You’ll onboard new operators, run weekly check-ins, and translate their pain into our backlog.
- Product designer (part-time / contract). Sharp visual taste plus comfort designing inside React. Tailwind is fine; you don’t need to live in Figma.
How we work
- Remote-first, async-default. We avoid meetings unless they’re the cheapest path to alignment.
- Trunk-based, small PRs, ship behind feature flags or directly to a small operator group.
- One incident postmortem per real incident. No theater. No retros for the sake of retros.
- Equity for early hires, cash market-rate for the role and region. Health insurance comes online with the second hire.
Want to be on the bench?
Email [email protected] with a one-paragraph note on what you’d most want to work on, plus a link to something you’ve shipped that you’re proud of (a repo, a project, anything). We’ll reply.
