An AirPods buyback website with the right serial-level checks.

AirPods 2nd gen, 3rd gen, Pro, Pro 2, and AirPods Max — priced weekly, serialized, fraud-screened.

AirPods sit in a unique sub-market: small, high-volume, easy-to-resell, but with a serialization quirk that bites operators who don't handle it. Each AirPod (left and right) has its own serial number. The case has another. A "complete" set requires all three matching. Resellers who don't verify run into "I sent you my buds; charging case is from a different pair" disputes regularly.

WerOrg's AirPods subcatalog verifies all three serials at intake. The funnel walks the seller through "scan the left bud, the right bud, the case" with photos as backup. The serial check confirms model (2nd gen vs 3rd gen vs Pro vs Pro 2 vs Max), generation, and Apple Care status. Pricing refreshes weekly — AirPods depreciate fast (a 1-year-old Pro 2 sells for ~$120 vs. $250 MSRP), so a stale price sheet costs margin quickly.

Why airpods buyback breaks generic platforms.

Three failures that show up specifically in the device-level catalog and the per-device IMEI flow.

6 hrs/wk

Manual price updates

That's what most operators spend keeping their spreadsheets aligned to eBay and SellCell prices. Compounds to ~300 hrs/year — and stale prices still cost margin on every transaction in between.

$2,400+

Custom-build entry cost

What you'd pay a freelance dev for a basic buyback form on Webflow or Shopify — before IMEI checks, payout rails, or multi-currency. And you still own the maintenance.

12-18 mo

Time to recoup that build

Even at 50 trade-ins/month, the custom-build sunk cost takes a year to clear. WerOrg breaks even in week three of trading.

What WerOrg ships for airpods, day one.

Built into every storefront — the airpods catalog, the per-device fraud screen, the multi-currency renderer, and the payout rails.

Weekly device price sync

Operator-curated prices for 500+ devices, pushed to your storefront every Monday. No more manual spreadsheet maintenance, no more stale quotes that cost you margin three days later.

IMEI lookup + fraud screening

Every quote runs through a real-time IMEI check against the GSMA blocklist. Stolen and blacklisted devices are flagged before you wire payment — and the audit trail is one click away if a chargeback appears.

Multi-currency, multi-region

USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, and ZAR display currencies with daily exchange-rate sync. One Postgres database; the customer sees their local format, you see USD-canonical reporting.

Custom domain + branded checkout

Drop in your own domain (CNAME) and your logo, colors, contact details — the funnel renders as your brand from the first pixel to the payout email. No "powered by" badge anywhere.

Payout rails on autopilot

ACH, Zelle, PayPal, check, or store credit — set per-customer or per-device-class. Hand-key zero payouts; the queue flushes nightly with a full audit log.

Three production-ready themes

Clarity (premium minimal), Convert (high-conversion), Fleet (B2B / ITAD). Switch themes in seconds without losing leads, branding, or prices — they all draw from the same Postgres tenant config.

Spec parser demo

Paste AirPods Pro serial (case lid interior), get model, condition, and market value.

Every airpods quote on a WerOrg storefront runs through the same parser — model identification, blacklist check against the GSMA database, and a market-value estimate from our weekly-curated price feed. Below is what the dashboard returns when an operator processes a real lead.

Public-page demo. Real airpods pro serial (case lid interior) lookups run from inside the operator dashboard against the GSMA database + our weekly-curated price feed.

From signup to first pair of AirPods trade-in, in four steps.

Same setup flow as every WerOrg tenant. The device-specific calibration happens automatically.

  1. STEP 1

    Pick a theme

Choose Clarity, Convert, or Fleet from the dashboard. Each renders the same data; the difference is hierarchy, color, and trust-signal density.

  2. STEP 2

    Wire your domain

Set a CNAME on your domain to point at the WerOrg edge. Free TLS via Approximated. Apex working in 5-10 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    Set payout ratios

Pick the % of resale price you pay per device class. Override individual SKUs if you're sitting on inventory of a specific model.

  4. STEP 4

    Start taking trade-ins

Live by Friday. Quotes render in seller currency, shipping labels print on the operator side, payouts run nightly.

WerOrg vs. the alternatives

Three honest comparisons. We're not the cheapest custom build, and we're not the only platform. We are the only platform that ships you the prices, the themes, and the multi-tenant infrastructure in one.

Built by someone who’s done this

I sold device buyback websites for 10 years one at a time. Customers kept asking me to update their prices weekly — that's why I built this as a SaaS.

The point isn't the website. The point is the prices. WerOrg ships you both, and the prices update themselves.

A buyback business is a margin business. Every hour you spend on infrastructure is an hour you're not spending on supplier relationships or marketing — which is where margin actually compounds.

Frequently asked questions

Does WerOrg verify all three AirPods serials (case, left, right)?

Yes — the funnel captures all three at intake. Mismatched serials (e.g., the case is a 2nd-gen Pro but a bud is a 1st-gen Pro) are flagged and the seller is shown a corrected, lower offer.

How does the catalog handle AirPods Max?

AirPods Max is a separate catalog entry — different form factor, different resale market. Pricing tracks Apple's own refurb store as the ceiling. Color variants (silver, sky blue, etc.) don't materially affect quote.

What about replacement buds / cases?

Single replacement buds (not a complete pair) are submitted via manual quote. The resale market exists but pricing varies sharply — a single Pro 2 right bud might sell for $80 or $20 depending on demand that week.

How are 1st gen AirPods handled?

1st generation AirPods (2016-2019) are at parts value only — $5-$20. The funnel still accepts them but the operator typically buys them in bulk lots rather than per-pair.

Does the platform detect Find My-enabled AirPods?

AirPods Pro and AirPods Max with Find My active are detected during the serial lookup. The seller is shown a "disable Find My before shipping" instruction; if the buds arrive still linked, the operator has the option to send them back or process at a reduced offer.

Are non-Apple wireless earbuds (Galaxy Buds, Pixel Buds) in the catalog?

Yes, but in the broader "headphones" category, not the AirPods-specific catalog. Samsung Galaxy Buds and Google Pixel Buds Pro are in catalog; niche brands route to manual quote.
