A gaming consoles buyback website with the current generation handled.

PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch (incl. OLED + Lite), Steam Deck — every disc/digital variant.

Gaming consoles are the natural adjacent category to phones — same operator base (resellers, repair shops), same trade-in cadence (every couple of years when a new generation launches), similar margin profile. The current generation (PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch family, Steam Deck) trades reliably; older generations are mostly parts value.

WerOrg's console catalog covers the current generation with disc-vs-digital variants for PS5 and Xbox, all Switch SKUs (original, OLED, Lite), and Steam Deck. Pricing is refreshed weekly against eBay sold + StockX, with disc variants typically priced $30-$50 higher than digital due to disc-resale demand. Older consoles (PS4, Xbox One, Switch 2017-2019) are in catalog at lower per-device prices.

Market signal: Adjacent device cluster: ps5/xbox/switch trade-in long-tail.

Why gaming consoles buyback breaks generic platforms.

Three failures that show up specifically in the device-level catalog and the per-device IMEI flow.

6 hrs/wk

Manual price updates

That's what most operators spend keeping their spreadsheets aligned to eBay and SellCell prices. Compounds to ~300 hrs/year — and stale prices still cost margin on every transaction in between.

$2,400+

Custom-build entry cost

What you'd pay a freelance dev for a basic buyback form on Webflow or Shopify — before IMEI checks, payout rails, or multi-currency. And you still own the maintenance.

12-18 mo

Time to recoup that build

Even at 50 trade-ins/month, the custom-build sunk cost takes a year to clear. WerOrg breaks even in week three of trading.

What WerOrg ships for gaming consoles, day one.

Built into every storefront — the gaming consoles catalog, the per-device fraud screen, the multi-currency renderer, and the payout rails.

Weekly device price sync

Operator-curated prices for 500+ devices, pushed to your storefront every Monday. No more manual spreadsheet maintenance, no more stale quotes that cost you margin three days later.

IMEI lookup + fraud screening

Every quote runs through a real-time IMEI check against the GSMA blocklist. Stolen and blacklisted devices are flagged before you wire payment — and the audit trail is one click away if a chargeback appears.

Multi-currency, multi-region

USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, and ZAR display currencies with daily exchange-rate sync. One Postgres database; the customer sees their local format, you see USD-canonical reporting.

Custom domain + branded checkout

Drop in your own domain (CNAME) and your logo, colors, contact details — the funnel renders as your brand from the first pixel to the payout email. No "powered by" badge anywhere.

Payout rails on autopilot

ACH, Zelle, PayPal, check, or store credit — set per-customer or per-device-class. Hand-key zero payouts; the queue flushes nightly with a full audit log.

Three production-ready themes

Clarity (premium minimal), Convert (high-conversion), Fleet (B2B / ITAD). Switch themes in seconds without losing leads, branding, or prices — they all draw from the same Postgres tenant config.

Spec parser demo

Paste Console serial (back of unit), get model, condition, and market value.

Every gaming consoles quote on a WerOrg storefront runs through the same parser — model identification, blacklist check against the GSMA database, and a market-value estimate from our weekly-curated price feed. Below is what the dashboard returns when an operator processes a real lead.

Public-page demo. Real console serial (back of unit) lookups run from inside the operator dashboard against the GSMA database + our weekly-curated price feed.

From signup to first gaming console trade-in, in four steps.

Same setup flow as every WerOrg tenant. The device-specific calibration happens automatically.

  1. STEP 1

  2. STEP 2

    Wire your domain

Set a CNAME on your domain to point at the WerOrg edge. Free TLS via Approximated. Apex working in 5-10 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    Set payout ratios

Pick the % of resale price you pay per device class. Override individual SKUs if you're sitting on inventory of a specific model.

  4. STEP 4

    Start taking trade-ins

Live by Friday. Quotes render in seller currency, shipping labels print on the operator side, payouts run nightly.

WerOrg vs. the alternatives

Three honest comparisons. We're not the cheapest custom build, and we're not the only platform. We are the only platform that ships you the prices, the themes, and the multi-tenant infrastructure in one.

Built by someone who’s done this

I sold device buyback websites for 10 years one at a time. Customers kept asking me to update their prices weekly — that's why I built this as a SaaS.

The point isn't the website. The point is the prices. WerOrg ships you both, and the prices update themselves.

A buyback business is a margin business. Every hour you spend on infrastructure is an hour you're not spending on supplier relationships or marketing — which is where margin actually compounds.

Frequently asked questions

Does the catalog distinguish PS5 disc vs digital edition?

Yes — separate catalog rows. Disc edition prices $30-$50 higher than digital due to the disc-drive value and the resale-market demand for physical-game compatibility.

What's in the Nintendo Switch catalog?

Switch (original, 2017 / 2019 hardware revision), Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and Switch 2 once it ships. Each is a separate row; Lite prices ~40% lower than Switch original.

Are bundled games or accessories captured?

The quote is for the console itself. Bundled games can be mentioned in the comments and the operator adjusts the offer manually on receipt. Accessories (extra controllers, etc.) follow the same pattern.

How are PS4 and Xbox One consoles handled?

In catalog at lower per-device prices ($100-$200 typical). Older PS4 / Xbox One Slim variants prices lower than Pro / X variants due to performance gap.

Does the platform handle Steam Deck?

Yes — Steam Deck (LCD, OLED) are in catalog with separate storage variants (64GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB). The OLED variants trade ~$80 higher than LCD equivalents.

What about handhelds — Playdate, Analogue Pocket?

Manual quote only — too niche for an algorithmic catalog. Some operators specialize in retro / boutique handhelds and handle these on a case-by-case basis.
